Copper

oil painting on copper

Copper is an ideal material for painting because it brings a warm vibrancy under the paint colors, and it lasts for centuries. Copper is less flexible, so paintings from hundreds of years ago look as if they were painted yesterday.

The first time we met Glenda Brown, we knew we wanted to work with her! Aside from being an amazing talent, she is a lovely person! We commissioned her to paint a portrait of our son, Conner and soon after, we wanted her to paint our younger son, Alex...both portraits are outstanding!

We recently commissioned her again, but this time to paint a landscape that she will be painting on copper. We cannot wait to see the final results!
